With so much going on at Christmas, I was unable to take pictures for the seventh task, and I am going to going away from my Lego for a week or so. Hopefully I will have it ready by the end of next week. (January 4th or 5th, give or take.)
Hope you all had a merry Christmas!

The Fifth Task, Part 1
Iterestingly enough, pure chance found Edward paired up with Andrea Porter, which just so happen to be figs from each of my blogs (Pirates and Blacktron)

A Pirate's Life 042
42 is a special number, so I thought I'd do something to comemorate it. For those of you who do not get the reference, read The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. And don't worry, the Tournament will continue!

The First task, Part 5
Not really a comic, just a loist to see how each contestant did. It's a complicated process on how I get the ponts (Not really, just have no time at the moment to explain it)

The First Task, Part 4
A little reference to Reasonably Clever, probably one of the most influencial webcomic for me.

The First Task, Part 2
Yeah, they are climbing down a movie shelf.....
This is a relatively new task in the Tournament. It wasn't one that my older brothers used back when the first started doing the Tournament, back in 2001 or so. I first did this one about 2-3 years ago. I completely forget the reason why I first did it, but I think it had something to do with being bored, and having the current contestants lying around the movie shelf.

A Pirate's Life 027
And so we meet the other contestants. and the Judges. The figs in the booth are supposedly the ones who give the contestants their points for each task. Judges, from left to right we have Admiral Gerard of the Imperial Navy (From my second oldest set, Sea Mates,) Admiral Gerard Wells of the Blacktron II (I am sensing a pattern here...) King Gulliver the Gullible (From the hosting set) Gerard Octan (From Slick Racer, and I sure liked naming Figs after myself back in the day), and the last is Emperor Chan, from the Ninja's.

A Pirate's Life 026
Some explanation is needed here. As you may have figured out, the Christmas Tournament happens every year. And in the past few years, a larger set gets to 'host' the Tournament, in the same sort of way that a city hosts the Olympics. In previous years, I have had City Airport, Fast Track Finish, and even Imperial Flagship. I thought castle finally deserved a turn, and since Kingdom's Joust was too awesome of a set, I used it. Mind you, it didn't help that it was built, and a more recent purchase.

USS Constitution
I finally found some time to get pictures uploaded of my masterpiece, also known as the USS Constitution, or Old Ironsides.
Clocking in at 50 inches long, or 160 studs, it is my longest ship by a bit, and at 42 inches tall, it is my tallest ship by a long shot. being the first ship that I have built that couldn't fit in my back seat of my car kind of points to that fact.
This also breaks a few other records, one of which being it has 50 guns, (and none of them the offical cannon piece!) which is almost 20 more then my previous high. Of course, I had to keep it accurate to the real thing.
If you didn't get a chance to see it at Brickcon, then check out the Brickshelf folder

A Pirate's Life 012
Okay, since I have my Christmas plot all plotted out, I have to quicken up the pace a bit, so as to get to a good breaking point (It will all make sense later). So starting this week, I shall be updating three times a week.
