HMS Redoubtable

112 gun, first rate ship of the line for the Imperial Guards. A true Imperial flagship if there ever was one.

Almost 11 months to build. Mind you, there was a move and a wedding to disrupt it, but still, a long time. First ever First Rate ship. first ever three gun deck ship. Second ship based on the 10210 colour scheme. Overall a success. I'm happy with almost every aspect of this. A couple minor things may need some tweaking.

Total length of the ship is 50 1/2 inches long, or about 162 studs long. Height is 39 1/2 inches tall. So it's my longest boat, but not my tallest.

Port Progress

Only way to get viewers back is to post stuff, eh?

Back in May I started working on a port, a port that I would like to have complete by the time Brickcon rolls around, and it is fast approaching. Technically its my second attempt to do this (And like the 4th time I've built this particular port, that being Hurricane Bay.) Three months later I am mostly done. Only two buildings left to build, both of which aren't full buildings, and one of which is only going to be a facade.
Note: these are not the latest pictures.
Mind you, after the two buildings are done, I still need to finish up the cobblestone, and do all the smaller detailing around. I also to to widen a street, as it is way too narrow.

Two dinghies

First post on this blog in quite some time....

I've been wanting to get back to using this blog, but never really could find the desire to. Until now. for all those people watching this, thanks for sticking around? I'm sure there was better things to do with your time than to keep tabs on this blog....

Anyways, I made a couple of little dinghies recently, one belonging to a character in A Pirates Life, that character being Weezil.

This was the second of the two boats I made, the first being one for Captain Jack Sparrow.

Hear ye, Hear ye!

I have an important announcement to make!

The comic that I am making and publishing on this blog (A Pirate's Life) is moving. I have finally gotten a proper Webcomic hosting site for it.

The link can be found here.

I have yet to re-publish all the comics there, and will hopefully get to that in the next couple days. Also, I still plan on keeping this blog, though I imagine updates are going to be slow in the foreseeable future.

Thnaks to all those who are still reading this!

A Pirate's Life 090

Not much dialouge in this one. Mostly it's just a chance to show off my ship a bit more. And I thought I'd better actually tell what happens to the others.

A Pirate's Life 089

Since I totally forgot to make a new batch of comics during the week, I'll give you a second filler strip. This one features the Doctor. Being on a really big Doctor Who kick, I choose this as my quicka nd easy to make filler strip. Also, I have had the idea for longer than I have had the comic. Expect a possible delay for Monday's strip.
